    Fernando José Torres Sanz (March 20, 1984 -), referred to as Fernando Torres, is a Spanish footballer striker, currently playing for English team 
Chelsea. Because of its handsome appearance, the Spanish fans called him El Nino, meaning little 
boy. But also because of the outstanding performance in the Spanish national team, after the 
Spanish golden boy Raul. Torres debut in 2004 at the European Cup in Portugal, but Spanish team 
did not qualify, Torres came off the bench two games, the last game to get first; in the 2006 World 
Cup in Germany, Torres played well 4 appearances and scored three goals, but unfortunately Spain 
lost 16 in France, ending World Cup; with Spain in 2008 in Switzerland and Austria participated 
jointly organized by the European Cup.

and scored a goal in the final with Spain won the championship, becoming the first in the 2nd 
European Cup finals players have scored. 2013 with Spain in the Confederations Cup, held in Brazil 
in four games scoring 5 goals 1 assists to get the Golden Boot, Spain runner-up.
