线话英语写作话题之：道歉类英语邮件的写作关键

　　道歉是生活中经常遇到的事情。你可能不会察觉，不过仔细回想，走路或者乘电梯需要别人让一下我们说的“对不起”或者“不好意思”，不过虽然字面上写的都是道歉的意思，实际可能只是一个习语而已。但是生活中确实会遇到很多需要道歉的事情，下面我们来看看不同环境里我们应该怎么使用道歉英语。

        工作或生活中，我们经常会遇到突然有事要找同事或友人帮忙，然而他们却碰巧有事，无法供给帮助，甚至根本接洽不到。当然，也有可能正好相反，你的同事或朋友找你有事，你却因为种种原因“辜负”了他们的冀望。这时，一份“迟来的道歉”就必不可少了。

　　此类信件的写法也比较有方法，一般开头段就要单刀直入地抒发歉意。第二段具体说明自己没能及时供应帮助的起因，也可能适当地讯问对方的问题怎么样了，以及本人现在还能做什么等。第三段则是再次报歉，以示真挚。

　　下面有两封信，第一封是John写给他的同事Marianne的求助信，主要是询问她有没有读过对台湾跟中国内地文化差异的文献或相关作品等，他做报告时需要。然而Marianne却由于私事没能及时回信，免费英语学习网站，因此她事后顺便写了一封道歉信，也就是后文的第二封信。信中，Marianne多次进行了诚挚的道歉,英语培训，学英语的好网站，并说明了起因——她的女儿生病了，须要照顾。加之本已繁忙的工作， Marianne就难有闲暇了。

1. reach sb. by phone：通过电话联系某人，即打电话给某人。这个表达比call sb.正式。

2. literature 指的是某一科目的文献资料，不能理解为“文学”。

3. do a short presentation：做一次简短的演讲。其实presentation的正确含意跟“讲演”还是有差别的，尤指那种一边放PPT(幻灯片) 一边给一群人讲解一个主题或一个名目等。 本文来自：英语之家

4. have an intention of doing sth.：有做某事的念头，就是愿意做某事的意思。句中加every修饰表示强调，即非常乐意。

5. brainstorm：这个词前两年在中国很盛行，直译为“头脑风暴”，很形象。句中作动词用，意思就是想办法、思考、探讨等。
