美联航将直飞新加坡

United Airlines announced on Thursday that it will start service from San Francisco International Airport to Singapore's Changi Airport, starting June 1st.

“美联航”宣布从6月1日起，推出首个旧金山飞新加坡直飞航班。

The flight will be the only nonstop service to the U.S. from Singapore, and will save passengers about four hours in travel time.

美联航也因此成为唯一运营美国直飞新加坡的航空公司，行程减少约4小时。

According to Mashable, the more than 8000-mile flight will be 16 hours and 20 minutes long--the longest-scheduled flight operated by any U.S. airline.

据美国科技博客Mashable表示，飞行距离超过8000英里，航行时间为16小时20分钟，这也是美国航空史上最长时间航线。

Once service to Singapore begins, the airline will stop its flights from Singapore to Tokyo.
