英文段落的写作方法

段落的构成

主题句 (topic sentence): 概括文章大意，表明作者观点

辅助句 (supporting sentence): 对主题句阐释，说明和拓展

结尾句 (concluding sentence): 重述，总结论点和主题句呼应

1.如何写主题句

1）必须是个句子 (主语，谓语动词，意义完整)

Drive on freeway.

Driving on freeway requires skill and alertness.

The importance of gold.

Gold has two important characteristics.

How to register for college classes.

Registering for college classes can be a frustrating experience for some students.

2) 抓住关键词，拓展主题思想

The women’s Movement has had several effects on English language.

Students on this campus recently voiced several complaints.

My school is one of the best in our town.

Care is what these single-parent kids need most at school.

I badly need a computer for my studies.

To succeed, you must work hard.

Well begun is half done.

3) 主题句不能过宽或者过窄

My roommate Paul has the characteristics of a good student. One of his characteristics is always being prepared for classes. For example, when the teachers give us homework, he will do it very carefully. In addition, he is a kind person. For instance, whoever get into trouble, he will do his best to help him or her.

3. 如何写结尾句

结尾句对全文是总结，概括，启发读者， 和主题句呼应

In conclusion，in summary，finally ，in short，in brief，in sum ，to conclude，all in all，In a nutshell

II. 段落写法的练习

Example:

题目： Why am I the happiest?

主题句：There are three things that would make me the happiest person in the world.

辅助句：

To begin with, I have a happy family life…

Furthermore, I have a satisfying career…

Finally, I have a strong sense of peace and security.

结尾句：

All in all, if I could have a good home life, a challenging job, and inner strength, I would be contended and satisfied with my life.
