I am very sorry to hear that Tiffany have had a sick today, wish her be fine quickly. In this class, I talked with substitute teacher, who could be said my familiar teacher, because we talked twice in my previous classes, I think Monica is a good teacher too. Maybe I am adapt to Tiffany’s teacher way and her voice. At the beginning of class, I couldn’t hear clearly from Monica, she asked me about my activities in New Year’s holiday, but I couldn’t get her meaning , After a moment of communication, I felt I could hear her more clearly. When talking about the topic of Sleep, I could get what she said, but I didn’t understand some opinions of the Useful Expressions, such as No.3 and No.5. In the expression of No.3, the third of day was the third eight hours of three eight hours a day, in other word, It means the sleep hours at night every day. About No.5, the chair and wheel means a car, If we feel tired, we should take a rest, then drive our cars. I also found that my vocabulary and grammar skills are weak, I should strengthen them. This was the first class in new year, 2012 was an extraordinary year for us, which was seemed as the end of the day several years ago, because the Maya calendar would go to end on 21st,Dec,2012, and some people who had some bad ideas utilized it to forecast the end of the world and made many people feel anxious and believe something. But the fact had been proved that It was only rumor. After 2012, we could have more anticipation for 2013, which will be a beginning for us. My other four friends, my wife and I had driven two cars to go to an island named “YueTuo” in Tangshan City from Hebei province of China in New Year holidays, we had hot spring, played card, watched TV together and welcomed the arrival of 2013, I think that It is a very meaningful and successful trip for us, we will organize more similar activities in the future. I was also very glad to hear that Tiffany had more activities with her friend, had more time to accompany with her family in New Year holidays. At last, we talked about the issue of sleep. In this class, I had many pronunciation errors ,and the word “eight” and “work” are included again, especially “eight”. I have to correct them by more exercise. Thanks for Tiffany’s help.

For the first topic, I can't agree the writer absolutely. The friendship is depended by both sides. I think the real friends can give you a hand when you in trouble. If my friends borrow me some money when I needed, that will deepen our friendship. If the friendship turns sour because of money, that is not real friends, that is just ordinary friends. So I want to say if you want to improve your friendship you can lend money to your friends. For the sencond topic, I agree with the writer absolutely. Understanding is really important thing in friendship. I also think it is a basic condition to get a new friend. If we understand others, we will feel more happy too.

It was last before News Years holiday, There were fewer persons in office, we all felt relaxed and would talk to each other, because there were many people in vocation, we couldn’t find colleagues who we are always cooperating with, so the work efficiency would be lower than before. There are no more works to do this days, because there are some projected that have been canceled or delayed. I think It will be a happy holiday for us, even though the wealth is cold, we will go to an island named “NiaoTuo” from Hebei province, and we will travel with my other 6 friends, it will be a two days trip, we will stay at the island and get hot spring or barbecue. In the next time, we continued to talk about the topic of Dreams. It is said that the phenomena in the dream will be opposite in real life, the bad thing in dream is good thing in real life, but those explanations are only some jokes for us, we can’t take them as reality. In this class ,I still got the wrong pronunciation on the words “eight” and “okay” , I have to correct them and I must give the right pronunciation in next and later class, Thanks for Tiffany’s help.
