  • 1. what I said: I have finished the report(the task I mentioned to you before). what you got: I have finished the record. so is there something wrong with my pronounciation in this word? 2. It was planned to be finished within five days, but I finished it in three days. So I finished it (in advance)…before the deadline. How can I express that I finished a task earlier than it is required? 3. About the low quality of our class recording, I have found out the reason. It was because my speaker of cell phone. If I hold it closer to my mouth, what I said was recorded clearly. 4. ...because sometimes the cell phone is easily to adopt a noise from you are end... Did you mention “adopt" in this sentence? I just want to make sure what I heard and to learn this expression. What I got: you are end? Isn’t that “your end”? 5. .. phone could be sometimes "statics" ...there is some noise and “stalic” noise… I did not catch the word in quotation marks. 6. …I am in the door of a café… The right expression is doorway or gateway. 7. What you said is “I am a good listening” or “I am a good listener”?

  • Dear Kim, I really appreciated to your nice teaching and positive feedback. You always encourage me no matter in English studying and stress in life. Thank you so much. At the same time, you are smart and sensitive in that you felt out the change of my attitude. You are right; I felt I become more confident these days. Because I was given a task and I finished it quickly. The positive feedback from the feeling of be required and achievement is really good. Another positive feedback is from the process of learning and the great time together with you. I know my English has much room to improve, so I have to do my best!

  • Absolutely, parents are the first teacher of children when they come to the world. During the period time of their growth, they learn many things only from their parents. Before child going to school, they learn walking, running, jumping, riding bicycle and little speaking technique under the care of their parent. These are the basic skills they need for contacting with the outside world. After school, children may leave their home and live campus. Although the teachers at school are professional and can help them to solve many problems they met at study, they still need the advices and other help from parents. When they enter society, go on their life journey. No matter where they are, what they do, when they need get help, they know their parents always there, insincerely hoping and expecting their success and giving help at any time. So we can say, parents are the best teachers for their children.
