翻译英语单词词典“收录”

　　8月28日，国内百余名学者联名写举报信，送至新闻出版总署跟国家语言文字委员会。该举报信称，商务印书馆第6版《古代汉语词典》收录“NBA”等239个西文字母开头的词语，违反了《国度通用语言文字法》等法规。

　　The scholars, including linguists and senior reporters, said the inclusion of words such as the basketball league "NBA" and "PM2.5", a measure of air pollution, violated regulations covering the Chinese language, including the Law on the Standard Spoken and Written Chinese Language.

　　包括语言学家以及高级记者在内的这些学者表示，收录NBA以及PM2.5(测量空气沾染的一个指标)等词语违背了《国家通用语言文字法》等汉语语言法规。

　　切实，汉语中有很多词都是borrowed words(外来语)，通过直译(literal translation /word-for-word translation)、意译(free translation)、音译(transliteration)以及改译(explaining translation)等翻译手法译成汉语。不过，由于cultural communication(文化交流)的增加，不少英文缩略词也日渐被大众多接受并广泛利用的翻译英语单词知识点。
